Panama Real Estate Code of Conduct
Código de Conducta Inmobiliaria de Panamá Español

Welcome

The Panama Real Estate Codes of Conduct were created originally to meet the needs of the more than 5,100 members of Retirement Wave, a group of people from all over the world, including Panama, who are interested in purchasing a home or other real estate property in the Republic of Panama. However, given the interest of so many other people, this Codes of Conduct are presented for the general public's information, both Retirement Wave members and non-members.

Finding the right home is always hard work, regardless of where you are. It is no different in Panama. There are many developers and promoters of properties in Panama and many real estate agents and agencies. Some are ethical, some are not. Some provide excellent customer service, some do not. Some are open in their dealings with clients, some are not. How is a buyer to tell the difference?

The Panama Real Estate Codes of Conduct are an important step toward helping good buyers find good sellers. To be included in our program, a real estate project's developers must sign their Code of Conduct and agree, by signing a legal contract, to comply with its requirements when dealing with potential buyers, whether from Panama or any other nation. If a developer shows a pattern of non-compliance and fails to address legitimate complaints, it will be removed from the list. In the same way, a real estate agent or agency must their Code under the same circumstances.

At this site, you can read the Codes of Conduct and see lists of qualified real estate projects and agents/agencies. If you are a real estate developer or agency in Panama and are interested in taking part, please contact us for the details. All visitors are welcome to contact us for further information.
